Are most LaBelle lots on well and septic?
Yes, most are. Well and septic installation typically adds $20,000 to $30,000 to total project cost depending on lot conditions. We include this in your quote up front. -
Can you build on acreage in Hendry County?
Yes. We've built on lots from quarter-acre to several acres. Acreage builds often require longer driveways and longer utility runs, which we factor into the quote. -
Is it cheaper to build in LaBelle than Lehigh or Cape Coral?
The home itself prices the same. Lots in LaBelle are often less expensive, and Hendry County permitting is faster. Well and septic costs are higher than city utilities, which offsets some of the lot savings.

Discover LaBelle
LaBelle is for buyers who want what Lehigh Acres looked like 20 years ago. More land, smaller-town pace, and prices that still leave room for everything else you want. It's an easy drive east from Fort Myers, and we've been building here for families who specifically wanted out of the more congested parts of Southwest Florida.
Hendry County sits east of Lee County, with LaBelle as its main town. The pace is different here. Lot sizes are bigger. Cattle ranches and groves are still part of the landscape. The Caloosahatchee River runs through town. If you want privacy, room for a workshop or outbuilding, and a real Florida small-town feel, this is one of the few remaining places in the region where you can still get that without driving three hours from the coast.
